“HBC” means Hanberg Club Limited, its successors and assigns, where applicable.“We”, “Our”, “we” and “our” all means HBC, its strategic partners which supply any services and products to HBC’s customer, included but not limited to Hanberg Insurance Agency Limited (HIA).
1.1 We respect personal information and are committed to full compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) provisions governing the management of personal information, safeguarding the privacy, confidentiality and security of personal data held by us.
2. Collection, use and retention of your personal information
2.1 All information given provided by you (“Personal Information”) is for the purpose providing you with our products and/or services. Personal Information includes but not limited to your name, identity card number, address, contact telephone number, mailing address, email address, vehicle numbers, personal information in business registration documents (if the products and services are purchased by a business/company), credit card and/or bank account details and other personal information for the purpose of providing you with our services or products.
2.2 You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and consent to the collection, use, retention and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with these terms herein.
3. Purposes for the collection, use, retention or disclosure of your Personal Information
3.1 When you apply for and/or purchase any of the services or products that we provide, we will collect your Personal Information. You may provide any of your Personal Information as you wish. Your use of our services or products will require the collection, use, retention or disclosure of Personal Information. We may not be able to provide you with any services or products if we are unable to obtain the Personal Information required.
3.2 The main purposes for which we collect, use, retain and/or disclose personal data include, but are not limited to, the following:

(A) Use your Personal Information for direct marketing of the following services or products of us, our affiliates, controlled companies, subsidiaries of our controlled companies or other affiliated companies:
(B) transferring or disclosing your Personal Information to a third party (within Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong) for direct marketing of the services, products, affiliate programs, gifts or discounts.
5. Retention of Personal Information
5.1 We will retain your Personal Information to a minimum and reasonable time within the timeframe required by Hong Kong’s laws and regulations. We shall cease to retain documents containing your Personal Information, or remove the means by which your Personal Information can be associated with you in particular, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that:

6. Accuracy of Personal Information
6.1 To ensure the accuracy of the information we hold about you, you may receive our confirmation or verification request. Please inform us as soon as possible of any corrections or changes to your profile, including, but not limited to, informing us if you do not wish to receive further marketing communications.
7. Handling of Personal Information and Security Measures
7.1 Except as provided in Clauses 3 and 4 above, we will not disclose or transfer any Personal Information to any person unless we have your prior consent or the disclosure or transfer is in accordance with legal requirements.
7.2 We have established security measures and monitoring procedures to prevent unauthorised access to, processing, deletion, loss or use of the information. We will monitor closely to ensure that all persons who have access to Personal Information comply with the requirements of this policy.
7.3 Our security measures include:
(A) using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect your Personal Information by encrypting the transmission data;
(B) only authorised officers are permitted to inspect or process such information, and they are required to comply with strict guidelines and procedures in handling your Personal Information; and
(C) conducting a periodic review of the security system.
8.1 Cross-border and online Personal Information transfers
You agree to such cross-border transfers of your Personal Information.
While we take all reasonable and practicable procedures and security measures to protect your Personal Information, there is no absolutely safe method of transmitting and storing information online. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of any Personal Information that you provide online, and we shall not be held liable to you (whether under the law of contract, the law of torts or otherwise) in relation to the transmission and storage of your Personal Information online.
11. Personal Information access and changes
11.1 Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), you have the right to inquire about and change your Personal Information. If you change your Personal Information, we may charge you a reasonable administrative fee.

In general, we will process your request as soon as we receive your request.
12. Effective date
12.1 This Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy is effective as of April 1, 2019 and supersedes previously issued versions of the above statement.
